GOTT funding helps to expand UK12S early-stage venture financing into knowledge assets

The UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund (UKI2S) has today announced the expansion of its patient capital fund by £37m, which the Government Office for Technology Transfer (GOTT) is part funding.

The expansion of UKI2S will now include scope to invest in public sector knowledge assets, in recognition of the of the UK public sector as a key source of innovation that can realise economic, social and financial benefits for the UK. Information on how to apply to the fund for investment is available on the UKI2S website.
